In the
Classroom

In the Radnor Chapter of Art Goes to School, we visit different schools in the Radnor school district. We present our portfolio to classrooms, and enjoy having an open-ended discussion with students rather than presenting in a lecture style, and as such we use videos, props, and activities to keep the students engaged! As seen in the photos, we have a large variety of activities such as the "favorites" activity, where each student is given a heart sticker and places their sticker on their favorite piece. We then discuss the favorites allowing the students to share why that piece was their favorite. Additionally, we have activities such as puzzles of the different artworks, an emotions activity where students assign an emotion card to an artwork, and a detail card activity where students match an image they've been given, which is a small piece of an artwork, to its original.
Outings

In the Radnor Chapter of Art Goes to School, we frequently visit different museums in the area to look at and enjoy art! Additionally, we host social events at throughout the year for AGTS Radnor members. All members are welcome to these events, and are labeled as such on the calendar. Events hosted by AGTS of Delaware Valley are noted with their logo.
